Lilac Kanzashi

For *SumiHatake's contest~! I used the themes 'festival, opportunist, and lilac'.

Well, I'm not sure where to begin... On the one hand, I'm pretty sure it's the best thing I've come up with. On the other hand... It's nothing like I meant it to be. I'd be disappointed if it weren't so... shiny...

There was supposed to be way more teasing on Kakashi's end, and a lot more annoyance on Iruka's end. (Because I can totally see Kakashi sneaking kanzashi into Iruka's hair, and poor Iruka being put out by it. Possibly with shouting involved.) Somehow that concept got lost as I did the lineart, and instead it looks like they're having a Moment. Oh wells?

Also, there are a lot of anatomy mistakes... And the yukatas are wrong... And I always make poor Iruka too feminine. And since I (stupidly) painted the lanterns last, the light sources are probably all screwed up too. OTL

That aside, this took ages! I painted everything... Next time I ought to use textures or something on the yukatas instead, because they took forever and still don't look right...

Um. Enough ranting. Technical details: SAI for lineart, and Photoshop for everything else. Yay!
